| Sep 19th: | Forum Cleanup |
| Some of you may have noticed that the forums are down every now and then lately. This is because I am currently doing some maintenance and upgrading on it. About 40.000 users (read: spambots and such) have already been deleted. I was also forced to delete some other accounts due to inconsistencies in the database. If you suddenly find yourself without an account anymore, please make a new one. As an effect of everything I am doing, I am reaching the max limit, which causes the database to shut down for an hour or so. -Sordican- |
| Jul 6th: | Spamming in private messages |
| We have recently had spamming in private messages with the sender posing as a staff member. The user has been removed, but we cannot remove any messages already sent. Please do not click links in private emails unless you are certain of the person sending the link. if necessary you can send a private message to the sender asking for verification of their identity before reading the message. We do not monitor private messages, and it is up to each forum user to protect themselves from this sort of spamming. |
