Whenever you see someone wearing a specially named item, its an artefact of course :) some could also be guessed for their weird color, and others can only be seen (if equipped) on

owners paperdoll menu but nm.If you do wonder where all these arties come from, here a short listing of possibilities - for detailed info either look up internet search or

uo.stratics.com or uostuff.com or on custom stuff look in our own forum but there we go now.. ->

paragon arties:everytime a monster is spawned on ilshenar facet and its dungeons there is a 5% chance there will be a paragon appearing - meaning a regular monster now has a golden hue,

moves way faster got higher regeneration on health and mana and can be considered 5 times as powerful than a regular monster of its kind. Upon killing a paragon you got a chance (depending on its

size and power) that you receive an artefact right into your backpack and/or a colored treasure chest as loot if it naturally has a chance to have t-maps as loot. Within those chests is always a

t-map one level above the regular t-map level of this kind of creature so in special cases you end up with lvl 6 t-maps (ingeniously) ... if you find location and dig them up and survive the spawn of

guarding monsters you will find an artefact inside that dug up chest, nice eh?leviathan arties:uh well, almost same selection of items as

with the paragon list - just a few items are only obtainable on this ones loot! Err lets start this other way around! :POnce you reach a certain fishing level you can get up some Message in a

bottle carrying monsters either by fishing or using special fishing nets (can get this by fishing too hehe, also in different colors, for those deco ppl) - if you doubleclick the MIB you receive

normally a waterstained SoS but with a low chance this could be an ancient SoS, you will notice that fast as it should be white colored. you get that t-chest up as you do with every

other SoS. Only difference is - this chest contains a white colored fabled fishing net too which can be used to get the leviathan up - dont ever try this with no help they will cause lots

of trouble alone and come up with a couple of their sea-mates as well so death can be fast on your toes ^^. If i recall the one i fished up right the chest did hold an arty too - and if you kill

and loot the leviathan you got chance on one more, even some only dropping on the leviathan so its your decision to take this risk as most "leviathan only" loot is just deco.

gauntlet arties:these just drop occasionally inside gauntlet area of dungeon doom on malas facet. To get into that area you need to find the npc victoria in dungeon doom and

complete her quest of collecting 1000 demon bones which drop as loot in literally every monster down there. As they are heavy you should visit her now and then and drop those off, she wont loose

count so dont worry. Once the 1000 bones are collected you have to kill a special summoned monster the Bone demon - the person with victorias quest will receive a golden skull

once it is killed in his backpack, so dont wonder if theres nothing unusual in the loot of this thing (besides demon bones, gold and few items). Anyways with that golden skull you can pass the ferryman -

take care though: as the ferry area got some not so nice guarding monsters around. If you got some ppl for help, party up with them - if you got some pets that you want to take into gauntlet -

mount whatever you can and shrink whatever you got already out, as the ferryman wont let others pass than "mounted" pets and party members. Just ring the ferry bell if you are ready, gather close
